Triphala is one of the most common herb in Ayurvedic medicine fit and I love it because it is simply put, it's the cure for many diseases. The three fruits contained in Triphala, Haritaki, Amalaki and Bibhitaki, each corresponding to one of the three humors or doshas of Indian Ayurvedic medicine.
According to Ayurvedic theory, the body is composed of three doshas, which include cotton, or "wind" which corresponds to the mind and nervous system, Pitta, or "fire", which is responsible for the metabolic transformations including thedigestion and assimilation of food, and coffee or "water" or "serve" the humor is responsible for all anabolic or building functions such as the development of muscle and bone tissue. Each of the three herbal fruits in Triphala blend and promotes internal cleansing of toxins and removes all together, total body acts as a tonic for digestion and assimilation.
Triphala reduces cholesterol, improves circulation, reduces high blood pressure, improves liver function, and anti-inflammatory and anti-viral. Triphala also has compounds called anthrokuinones to help stimulate bile flow and peristalsis soldier. In addition, Triphala has a high content of vitamin C, contains omega-6 and other important nutrients, making it the perfect tonic. Triphala is usually taken as a powder, with mixing in two or three grams of powder with warm water and drink every night or in divided doses over three days. Those who do not like the taste can be tasted in tablet or capsule form. I enjoy a glass of water, honey, triphala every morning on an empty stomach and will not go a day without it. I know that triphala is what I was healthy through the seasons, and I recommend it to everyone!
